Buddleja 'Royal Red' Shrub

Buddleja 'Royal Red' is a large and deciduous shrub that offers an impressive display. The long and narrow leaves are a lovely mid green with flecks of white beneath. This is complemented by small, luscious purple-red flowers which grow in a tight clusters upon long panicles. These flowers are beautifully scented and attract pollinators, particularly butterflies which flock to this species. With a spreading habit, and growing up to 4x4 meters, this shrub is ideal for a garden border. 

Buddleja 'Royal Red' will thrive in full sun and partial shade in an exposed or sheltered environment. It is hardy and low maintenance, and can grow in a variety of moist but well-drained soils.
